Overview
Werzat Storemapps was a mobile ordering application built to make food and product purchasing more accessible and affordable for American families. The platform connected users with over 100,000 retail locations across the United States and Canada, providing access to over one billion products across retail categories.
Problem
Everyday product ordering through existing delivery platforms is expensive, fragmented, and often limited in retailer coverage. Families looking for affordable access to groceries, restaurant meals, pharmacy items, and other essentials faced high per-order fees and inconsistent availability across store types.
Implementation
Werzat was built as a cross-platform mobile application for iOS, Android, and tablet. As lead developer, I delivered the full mobile experience covering store discovery, product browsing, checkout, and order fulfillment workflows.
Key features included:
- pickup and delivery ordering across 100,000+ retail locations
- access to over one billion products spanning grocery, restaurant, liquor, pharmacy, convenience, and electronics categories
- a monthly subscription model for reduced per-order pricing
- simple checkout with flexible payment options
- a social impact component donating a portion of proceeds to hunger relief
Result
Werzat Storemapps provided a unified mobile ordering experience that undercut competitors on cost while maintaining a broad retailer network and a social mission. The platform gave families a practical way to order across store types from a single app at lower prices.
